As I was cooking away tonight, making a fabulous dinner, I got caught up in my sauce...mostly because it was amazeballs. Silken tofu, pumpkin, so much sage, cayenne, salt and pepper, and nutritional yeast. Anyways, I was so focused on making it delicious, I didn't even think to look at the gnocchi ingredients until after dinner. Eggs AND milk. Mother effer. Luckily I made it with 3 Chinese eggplant as well, so at least it wasn't all gnocchi...right?
Besides this I have been perfect! Treated myself to an iced soy gingerbread latte (no whip of course!) on Friday, and picked up some FABULOUS So Delicious Coconut "nog." It's pretty high calorie, but I cut it with unsweetened almond milk or add it to my coffee.
Even with my accidental slip tonight, I am super proud of myself that I've been so good! I was even down 2 pounds this morning from the beginning of the week! YES!!!
And just so everyone knows...even though me and Katie have been tackling this whole get healthy bit together for a long time now, she will NOT be taking me with her to the American Music Awards. I think it's bullshit. I doubt her hubs REALLY wants to go on a once in a lifetime trip and meet celebrities...I mean seriously.
